Microsoft Sets Final Deadline for Dynamics 365 Project Service Automation Support

Microsoft has announced that support for Dynamics 365 Project Service Automation (PSA) will end on March 31, 2025, for commercial cloud customers. After this date, updates and bug fixes will cease, and support tickets will be directed toward upgrading to Dynamics 365 Project Operations, as highlighted by Rupa Mantravadi in a recent blog, reported by MSDynamicsWorld.
Transition from PSA to Project Operations
This deadline is part of a broader transition that began in March 2024, when Microsoft confirmed PSA 3.x was being deprecated in favor of Project Operations, which launched in June 2020. Initially, the upgrade process raised concerns, but Microsoft has since improved it, making Project Operations a more advantageous option for PSA users.
New Features in Project Operations
The shift to Project Operations introduces enhanced features, including integration with Project for the Web, multi-customer contracts, and Artificial Intelligence-driven Copilot tools.
