Jeffrey Goldstein Joins UN Cybersecurity Panel with Microsoft and Cybersecurity Tech Accord

On July 21, Jeffrey Goldstein, Managing Director of Queue Associates, was honored to join a panel with Microsoft and the Cybersecurity Tech Accord at the United Nations entitled “Cybersecurity Threat Landscape and Multi-Stakeholder Approach in Supporting the Implementation of the Agreed Norms of Responsible State Behaviour.” The program involved international and U.S.-based stakeholders from the Singapore Government, and Tech Accord signatories Microsoft, Hitachi, Queue, and others.

Queue Associates is a Microsoft Gold-certified Partner organization, focused on the delivery of application and data services surrounding the Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite of productivity solutions and related offerings. Implementation and support of these solutions involve deep commitments to application security, data privacy, and overall cybersecurity defense. Queue Associates Worldwide, and its’ other registered, fully-staffed companies in the APAC and EMEA regions, deliver Microsoft solutions encompassing comprehensive security with ISO-certified staff, as well as in close partnership with organizations such as OneTrust and the UK-based Data Privacy Group.

On the panel, Mr. Goldstein cited Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella’s keynote address at the recent Microsoft Inspire conference: “Security is the top priority for every organization undergoing digital transformation.” He continued, providing the following statistics from Mr. Nadella’s address: “Cybercrime is now expected to cost the world $10.5 trillion annually by 2025.” Mr. Goldstein mentioned that Microsoft’s applications with built-in security, and Microsoft’s security products such as Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Priva, and Microsoft Defender and Sentinel, are, in Mr. Nadella’s words, “informed by more than 24 trillion threat signals each day.”
According to Mr. Goldstein, it is Microsoft’s deep commitment to addressing these threats that enable his organization to deliver the most advanced solutions to protect Queue Associates’ clients, even considering today’s constantly increasing “volume and sophistication of cyberattacks.” He indicated that governments — state and local (municipalities), and central governments (for example the United States Federal Government) — can derive and emulate, and some are already utilizing, best practices from Microsoft’s cybersecurity model.
