This is the first in a series of blog posts to mark the Queue Associates 30th Anniversary celebration and the special event held in honor of the occasion in July 2022. In this post, Jeffrey Goldstein, Queue’s Managing Director, pays tribute to the exceptional bespoke outfit he wore to the Queue30 gala, held at the landmark Grand Central Oyster Bar and SUMMIT One Vanderbilt. The “suit” — a 100% custom blazer, pants, and shirt — was made by Mohan’s Custom Tailors, which, like Queue, is celebrating a major milestone this year, Mohan’s 50th Anniversary in business!

Jeff is a lifelong, passionate sports fan. His childhood hero was the legendary Walt “Clyde” Frazier, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame honoree for his iconic position as floor general for the New York Knicks — one of the most important players in Knicks history, leading the team to its two championships in 1970 and 1973 — and as a broadcaster for the MSG Network. Jeff said to a colleague about his look for the Queue30 gala, “I want to look like my idol, Clyde Frazier.” It happened that the colleague knew Clyde Frazier’s custom tailor–the company that makes Mr. Frazier’s unique, colorful, bespoke suits… none other than Mohan’s (which, ironically, is headquartered across the street from Queue’s Midtown Manhattan headquarters).
